Standing in front of Harry Elkins Widener Memorial Library. It was completed in 1915 as a memorial to the young Philadelphia bibliophile and Harvard graduate who perished on the RMS Titanic along with his father.
The Harry Widener memorial room, which includes his entire collection rare books. Front and center is a Gutenberg bible, purchased by his self-educated grandfather Peter A.B. Widener.
